PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Follow proper procedures for setting up multiple steel rule die cutting presses.
2.      Understand core vision and values of the company. Incorporate into all aspects of areas of responsibility.
3.      Read blueprints and check measurements.
4.      Hold consistent registration throughout job.
5.      Move jobs (when complete with die cutting process) to next operation.
6.       Provide parts for lot certification (if required).
7.      Set up and run difficult jobs; with tight register, thin material, thick polyester, face cutting, while hitting or exceeding hourly production goal consistently.
8.      Train new operators how to properly set up and operate die cutting machines.
9.      Set up and emboss sheets on clam sheets presses.
10.  May perform other duties as assigned by Finishing Supervisor.  
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
1.      Knowledge of and the ability to effectively utilize the English language.
2.      High school diploma or GED preferred.
3.      Regular attendance is an essential function of the position. May require overtime.
4.      Read and understand a standard and metric ruler.
5.      Ability to understand and complete basic math.
6.      Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
7.      Ability to read, comprehend and follow implicit and explicit written and oral instructions.
8.      Must be able to communicate and answer questions in a professional and friendly manner.
9.      Requires nearly constant concentration and strong attention to detail.
10.  Ability to use hands for 100% of work time and reach above shoulders for 25% of work time.
11.  Ability to stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
12.  Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or less 30% of time, up to 50 pounds or less 15% of work time and up to 75 pounds or less 15% of work time.
13.  Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less, or 20 feet or more and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
14.  May lift up to 100 pounds.  
 
WORKING CONDITION
1.      Work near moving mechanical parts.
2.       Work with a variety of chemicals.
3.    Nearly constant exposure to vibrations, noise and chemical odors
