Production Supervisor
Starting Salary Range:
$22.50-24.50/hour

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain and utilize safety practices by correcting unsafe acts and enforcing plant safety programs.
  • Assure compliance with all customer specifications.
  • Ensure that daily productivity goals are being met.
  • Ensure housekeeping procedures are being followed.
  • Oversee employees to ensure correct packaging and shipping of orders.
  • Recommend to Management ways to minimize costs and maximize production.
  • Supervise the proper handling of products and supplies in the warehouse with respect to packaging of products. •Assist in overseeing that equipment is being maintained properly.
  • Gain a complete understanding of all production reporting systems and utilize systems and data to ensure objectives for OEE (Rate, Yield, and Utilization) are being optimized.
  • Maintain a positive open line of communication with all employees.
  • Provide employee recognition to say thank you and to encourage actions and thinking that will make Lakeside Foods a successful organization.
  • Inform Management of all labor situations.
  • Assure that each person is properly trained and performs their job assignments as instructed.
  • Provide a positive work environment to help each other be successful meeting customer’s needs.
