Roles & Responsibilities:
· Effectively
manage all shipping processes so that customer orders are shipped timely and
accurately.

Establish processes so that all receiving of
products are completed timely and accurately.
·
Ensure that all company quality control and food
safety requirements are followed by all warehouse employees.
·
Manage employee performance. This includes
alignment of employee goals for their area of responsibility, objectives, and
competencies to support business strategies. Ensure metrics are in place to
measure progress toward goals and objectives. Manager must be available to meet
with employees on off shift and weekends if needed. Issue disciplinary actions
as warranted.
· Implement
and maintain appropriate Quality Systems. Ensure compliance with in-house
and/or external specifications and standards to include HACCP/SQF and GMP’s.
· Facilitate
the customer and third-party audits of the facility; presenting company
compliance with requirements.
· Supervise
and support Document Control, Internal Auditing function and Food Safety Audits.
·
Assist with investigation of complaint trends and put in place corrective actions
as needed.
·
Actively contribute to the data collection,
trend analysis, investigation and improvements to processes, products and systems.
· Work
with quality, manufacturing teams, customer service, and transportation, to
help create and/or modify methods and procedures that ensure appropriate
processes and/or procedures are developed, tests are conducted and that
products meet required standards.
·
Prepare yearly budget, report forecast results
weekly, and be able to explain over/under budgeted costs.
·
Perform other duties and special projects as
needed.
Skills, Experience and Education:
· Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision,
motivated self-starter
· Highly
developed leadership skills,
including performance management, employee evaluations, corrective actions,
coaching, and interviewing
·
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point,
Outlook)
·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·
Ability to present information to management,
third party auditors and peers
·
Ability to define problems, collect data,
establish facts and draw valid conclusions
to prioritize projects to meet deadlines, customer expectations, and conflict
resolution
·
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of
technical instructions in mathematical or
diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
·
SAP or related WMS inventory control systems experience
required
Education: Bachelor’s
Degree Preferred in Supply Chain
Master’s Degree
Minimum
Experience Preferred (Number of years and type): 3+ years of supply
chain/warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
