Production Operator
Starting Salary Range:
$13.50-$14/hour

Key Job Responsibilities  
•          Daily preventative maintenance
•           Practicing and enforcing safe work practices
•          Packaging rubber mulch in 2400 lb. bags
•          Packaging liberated tire steel 2000 lb. bags
•          Stage rubber mulch and steel in yard
•          Maintain a clean work area  
 
Job Experience  
•          Industrial or heavy labor background preferred
•          Forklift or heavy equipment experience beneficial  
 
Requirements  
•          Must have car and driver's license
•           Must be able to do highly physical labor in a fast paced, team oriented work environment
•          Must be able to problem solve  
 
Tools and Equipment  
•           Forklifts
•          Articulating end loaders  
 
Work Schedule  
1st shift- Monday through Thursday 4:30am-5:00pm  
2nd shift-Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday 4:30prn-5:00am, Monday and Wednesday 5:15 pm - 5:00am  
Weekend shift - Friday and Sunday 4:30arn-5:00pm, Saturday 4:30am-7:00pm

The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.   The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift upwards of 100 pounds with assistance (The maximum lifting weight that employees may lift unassisted is 50 pounds). Specific vision abilities required y this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.  
 
Work Environment   The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual s with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud when operations are in process. Lower noise levels will be experienced during periods in while the machines are not operational. Employee will be subject to weather conditions, not limited to  rain, wind, heat and cold. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as assi gned by their designated work area.
